STEP 25 - BURNING TONGUE

broken image

BURNING TONGUE or burning mouth syndrome is a less common but very painful symptom of menopause.

Women who do experience this symptom complain of pain on the roof of the mouth, lips, the tongue, or throughout the mouth. A drop in saliva levels can be caused by a reduction of estrogen in the body. This can cause a burning sensation that can appear after the first meal and then continue on throughout the day, becoming more uncomfortable by the evening.

Cooling Essential Oils such as Peppermint, Spearmint, and Lemon can all be helpful as they can be taken internally. Other helpful Essential Oils include Copaiba and Frankincense.

Many are discovering the amazing benefits of CANNABINOIDS and how they work within the body. Cannabinoid receptors, also known as CB receptors, affect many physiological processes such as appetite, mood, memory, and even pain.

This popularity has led to many people seeking out Cannabidiol, or CBD oil, that is extracted from the cannabis plant. After much research on CBD, many oils on the market lack purity and have just a fraction of the oil present in the batches tested. CBD also lacks in affecting the CB receptors directly in the body.

Hemp oil contains high levels of tetrahydrocannabinol or THC, which mostly interacts with the CB 1 receptors which impact the brain and central nervous system. Research has shown that, while they impact the CB 1 receptors and can help with the nervous system and even our body's response to pain, THC also produces psychoactive effects.

Our company does not stand behind using oils that affect the brain in such ways. Instead, we focus on Essential Oils that affect the CB 2 receptors and have clear therapeutic benefits through Beta Carophyllene with no psychoactive effects on the brain. These CB 2 receptors influence our Endocrine and Immune systems.

Essential Oils with carophyllene include Melissa, Black Pepper, Ylang Ylang, Clove, Helichrysum, Juniper Berry, Oregano, and COPAIBA.

This oil is a unique blend of four different varieties of COPAIBA that increase potency and responses with the CB 2 receptors.

COPAIBA Essential Oil is derived from the resin in the Copaiba tree, which is found in tropical South America.

Similar to Black Pepper Essential Oil, COPAIBA can help soothe anxious feelings. Taken internally, COPAIBA Essential Oil supports a healthy cardiovascular, immune, digestive, nervous, and respiratory systems. COPAIBA may also be neuroprotective and is a powerful antioxidant.
